What is Employer?

An employer is an institution, organization, establishment, foundation, association or person that hires employees, staff, labor or workers. They offer salary or a payment to the employees in exchange for the employees work or labor.

  • Responsible for must provide a good conditions, health and safety (free from serious hazards) management workplace for member of staffs with standards, rules and regulations. 
  • Make sure workers have and use safe tools, equipment, materials and suitable personal protective equipment (PPE) properly maintain and in good condition.
  • Use color codes, posters, marking, labels signs and symbols to inform employees of possible serious hazards.
  • Must provide knowledge, safety training and experience in a language and words workers can understand to classify the work and its performance.
  • Establish or update assistance, co-operation, operating procedures and communicate them so that employees follow safety and health representatives when working their functions. 
  • Employers with dangerous chemicals (toxic substance, biological, chemical and physical agent) in the workplace must develop and implement a written hazard communication program, information, instruction and train employees with respect to dangerous chemicals to protect his or her health and safety and a copy of safety data sheets must be readily available. 
  • Provide medical examinations or medical test and training (First Aid) when necessary 
  • Maintain records of all risk assessment reports, instruction and training associated with hazardous substances.
  • Keep a register of all hazardous substances.
  • Properly orientate, train and supervise staff to ensure safe work practices are understood and followed by all workers.
  • Educate, update and manage employees to protect their health and safety from hazardous.

What is Employee?

A human being who is hired to offer services to a company, institution, organization, establishment, foundation, association on a regular basis in exchange for payment and who does not offer these services as part of an free business.

Responsibilities of Employee


  • Employee to take reasonable concern of your hold physical condition, health, fitness and safety.
  • If possible to avoid wearing jewelry, long hair, wear a headscarf or loose clothing if working with machinery, equipment, moving parts make sure it's tucked out of the way as it could get caught in machinery to work together with your employer, making sure you get accurate training and you understand and follow the employer health and safety policies.
  • Not to interfere with or abuse everything that's been provided for your health, safety or welfare
  • to tell, inform, notify or report your employer if something happens, incident, any injuries or illnesses that might concern your ability to work, like becoming pregnant or suffering an injury. Because your employer has a legal responsibility for your health and safety,
  • Work with workers on your emergency planning in for fire, earthquakes, pandemics, hazards, happens, incident, any injuries or illnesses.
  • Wear or use properly all personal protective equipment (PPE) provided.
  • Ensure that the tools, equipment, materials and protective devices provided by the employer are maintained in good condition.
  • Follow or apply safe work procedures.
  • Not interfere with or abuse everything provided by the boss (equipment, Use color codes, posters, marking, labels signs and symbols.) that is used to keep the workplace safe.
  • Not remove or change machine guards.
  • Not perform in a way that puts themselves or others at risk.
